Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
DESERT PETROLEUM STATION # 7879 950 WEST 11TH STREET, TRACY - GROIN WATER
SAMPLING REPORT
As you requested, we have reviewed the May 1990 Ground Water Sampling
Report prepared for this site by Western Geo-Engineers (WEGE) for its
potential for certification of remediation and closure.
WEGE has recommended closure of the site because no petroleum hydrocarbons
were detected in samples from the three on-site ground water monitoring
wells during the recent round of ground water sampling.
Based on our review of information provided in this and previous reports,
the discharge of hydrocarbons at this site does not appear to have had a
significant impact on water quality in this area. Therefore, we recommend
that upon completion of Table 3, enclosed, and provided you are satisfied
with the extent of soil remediation, you consider the site for closure.
If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 361-5731.
THOMAS D. PELTIER
Associate Engineering Geologist
TDPjtdp
