The <br /> samples were collected under the supervision of a Ban Joaquin Local Health <br /> Inspector. All water samples were obtained from the water entering the. <br /> excavation using a previously cleaned (steam clean) plastic PVC bucket bailer <br /> attached to a nylon rope. The collected water was then slowly drained into <br /> a EPA protocol cleaned series 200 1 1 "Boston Round" amber glass bottle with <br /> ! tefloaacaps and 2 series 40cc "VOA" Vial glass with teflon caps and no <br /> headspace, labaledand cooled to 4°C (ice chest) delivered with chain of custody <br /> j. .r to Eureka Laboratory. All soil samples were collected by backhoe sampling <br /> Efresh surface, and packing-driving a previously clean (steam clean) 2" X6-- <br /> brass sleeve into the collected soil, capping the ends (no headspace) with <br /> teflon caps, wrapping the sleeves in aluminum foil, duct tape, labeled <br /> and cooled to 4°C (ice chest) then delivered with chain of custody to <br /> j Eureka Laboratory (see appendix J, figure 4B, and table 2 & 3). <br /> II <br /> E <br /> i <br /> M1 <br /> i <br />
