(PACIFIC), on <br /> behalf of Union Oil Company of California(d.b.a. Unocal), to forinally request a permit <br /> variance for the installation of 15 vent and 25 sparge probes at the site referenced above <br /> .(Figure 1). These driven points will be installed as part of Unocal's commitment to <br /> remediate petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil and groundwater. <br /> PACIFIC acknowledges California Well Statxlardy Bulletin 74-90, and San Joaquin <br /> County Dcwelopment'ritle, Chapter 9-1115.3 and the Standards of San Joaquin County <br /> Public I lealth Services, Environmental Health Division. PACIFTC realizes that <br /> C.aftfornia Well Standards Section 9 C states "a minimum of two inches of sealing <br /> lnrrlerial shall be maintained between all casing and the borehole wall, within the <br /> iteterwil to be sealed except as noted in Section 9 of the Water Well Slarnlards.
