A proposed schedule of activities was originally presented
in a letter prepared by Pacific Environmental Group Inc., and dated December 30, 1994.
The revised schedule is requested due to a change in project managers. Ms Penny Silzer.
has resigned from her position and the Tracy site has subsequently been transferred to me.
Design plans for the soil vapor extraction/air sparge remediation system to address
petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil and groundwater have been completed. Presently,
Unocal is preparing bid packages for contractor selection for the installation of the
remediation system, and securing capital equipment.
The installation of the soil vapor extraction and air sparge wells is scheduled to be
completed during the week of October 16, 1995. Construction of the remediation system
is anticipated to be completed by December 29, 1995. Based on this revised schedule,
remediation system start-up should occur by February 1, 1996.
