Please be informed that PHS/EHD
inspections of sampling events are an important aspect of local regulatory oversight. PHS/EHD should be
notified 48 hours prior to any site activities, including sampling events.
The "Soil and Groundwater Investigation" report dated June 11, 1992 and prepared by Pacific
Environmental Group indicated that included within the next quarterly report would be the results of a
proposed file research and vapor extraction feasibility study. Neither the next quarterly report dated July
10, 1992 nor the following quarterly report dated October 2, 1992 contained this information. Please
provide file review conclusions and the vapor extraction feasibility study by December 20, 1992.
If you have any questions or wish to schedule a site inspection, please contact Mary Meays, REHS, of my
staff at (209) 468-0337.
Jogi Khanna, ,D., M.P.H.
Health Or
nu A.
