The work <br /> Plan was prepared to outline an investigation of the extent of I <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons detected in soils during tank excavation i <br /> activities performed at the site in December 1989. The work <br /> plan includes a brief description of the background of the <br /> f facility, the proposed scope of work, field procedures, and <br /> Proposed laboratory analysis, 1 <br /> ` } <br /> BACKGROUND j <br /> s <br /> The project site is located at 8203 West Business Loop 205 in <br /> Tracy,. California (see Figure l) . Figure 2 and the attached <br /> r photos present the general facility layout, showing existing and ? <br /> farmer surface and subsurface tank locations, buildings and <br /> loading rack. - The Tracy Bulk Plant lies within a <br /> P <br /> industrial and agricultural area. To the north ofpthe site nruns <br /> a segment of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and a i <br /> cement/concrete processing facility lies to the east of the <br /> site. The propertyis_.bounded-to.--.the-west-b <br /> y-a-private----------- -------- ----- ---- - <br /> ----residence and to the south by West. Business Loop 205. A water <br /> canal (Westside Irrigation District) <br /> s located. south of the <br /> West. Business Loop.
