o Groundwater samples were analyzed for TPH gasoline, TPH diesel,
BTEX compounds, and halogenated volatile organics (EPA 624).
Samples obtained from Wells U-1 and U-2 contained 140 ppb and
670.ppb gasoline, respectively. Wells U-3 and WSW-1 contained no
detectable levels of any of the analyzed compounds. Diesel was not
detected in any of the wells sampled.
o The water supply well survey revealed nine documented water supply
wells within a 1/2-mile radius of the site. None of these wells are
currently located downgradient of the site.
o PACIFIC recommends the installation. of' three additional
groundwater monitoring wells to 'further evaluate'. the extent of
hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater.- Four:shallow soil borings
are also`recommended.to more accurately determine the potential
source.and exteni of hydrocarbon-affected soils.
ZI
i
i
i
3100101/REPORTli February 13,1991
i
