FProposed Facilities <br /> FThe proposed project is to expand the landfill by 222 acres (Figure 1-3). The 222 acres will <br /> be divided into three parcels: 126.4 acres north of the current .landfill will^be used as facilities, <br /> equipment areas, and a soil borrow area for landfill operations;'.84.6 acres southeast of the current <br /> F landfill is proposed for fill; and 11.0 acres northeast of the current landfill will be used as a floodplain <br /> area. In addition, the current 42.6-acre borrow area will be converted into a landfill area. Once <br /> horizontal expansion is completed and the existing landfill properly closed, the landfill cap will have <br /> E a final grade height of 150 feet msl.
