Page 24 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION MEASURE LEVEL OF <br /> SIGNIFICANCE <br /> AFTER <br /> MITIGATION <br /> prevailing winds,whenever possible,to <br /> minimize the amount of wind blown dust <br /> released from the working face. <br /> (e)Haul trucks carrying airborne material <br /> shall be covered during transport and <br /> sprayed with water prior to dumping if it is <br /> shown that this would reduce dust <br /> emissions during off-loading activities <br /> within the landfill. <br /> (f)The landfill operator shall restrict truck <br /> and equipment travel-over loose, <br /> uncompacted unpaved surfaces. <br /> (g)Vehicle speeds on the project site shall <br /> be limited to 15 MPH. The.main access <br /> road would be paved and maintained <br /> sufficiently to effectively eliminate <br /> entrainment of visible dust emissions from <br /> vehicle travel in accordance with <br /> SJ-VUAPCD Rule 8040(control of fine <br /> particulate matter(PM 10) from landfill <br /> disposal sites and Rule 8060(control of <br /> fine particulate matter(PM 10)from paved <br /> and unpaved roads). <br /> G.2. Exhaust emissions from equipment (a)All internal combustion engine driven LS <br /> and vehicle operations on the landfill equipment should be properly maintained <br /> would generate additional criteria air and tuned according to manufacturers <br /> pollution.
