Landfill 2018 Expansion Project <br /> and services provided by the impacted channel. <br /> • All graded areas within the habitat restoration area shall be seeded with <br /> appropriate mixes of California native grass and forb species, developed by a <br /> qualified restoration ecologist. <br /> • The stated goal of the mitigation effort shall be to establish self-sustaining creek <br /> channel habitat wetland vegetation that shall not require long-term irrigation or <br /> maintenance. <br /> • The mitigation site shall include the establishment of a vegetated upland buffer <br /> no less than 50 feet wide on both sides of the recreated channel,where <br /> practicable. <br /> • Provide grading details,location and quantities of all plant materials to be <br /> planted or seeded,native seed mixes to be used on all bare ground surfaces, <br /> monitoring procedures and schedules,identification of remedial measures,and <br /> performance criteria to be used by the agencies to assess success or failure of the <br /> mitigation effort. <br /> • Long-term monitoring over a minimum of five years shall be funded by the <br /> Project Sponsor, subject to approval by the regulatory agencies. <br /> • Annual monitoring reports shall be submitted to each permitting agency. <br /> • A wetland delineation and habitat map shall be prepared during the final year <br /> of monitoring and included in the final annual report. <br /> • Subject to review and modification by the regulatory agencies, specified success <br /> standards shall call for, at a minimum, 1:1 replacement of the creek channel that <br /> currently occurs, as detailed in the most recent wetland delineation report, at <br /> the end of the monitoring period. 4094 survival of any plantings and ,.etatio <br /> ;4.41-1 b feastetfed to ahe tent th-A it, ntly occurs s detailed in the _ <br /> , <br />
