If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed <br /> through a sand/oil separator and discharged to an above <br /> ground system approved by the Environmental Health <br /> Division. This system must be designed by a Registered <br /> Engineer. Applicant must file an application for <br /> facility permit/waste discharge with the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board. The application <br /> forms can be obtained from the Environmental Health <br /> Division. If the above ground holding facility had to be <br /> emptied you first would have to analyze the contents for <br /> any hazardous material. You can obtain specific test <br /> requirements from the Environmental Health Division. <br /> f . If hazardous material is 'stored on site applicant must <br /> register with County office of Emergency Services. <br /> g. If hazardous waste is generated applicant must obtain an <br /> EPA identification number and comply with, applicable <br /> regulations. <br /> h. Submission of four (4) sets of detailed underground <br /> storage tank plans to the Environmental Health Division <br /> for review and approval prior to beginning construction 1k. <br /> (if applicable) . <br /> 4 . BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION: <br /> a. The following Uniform Building code and San Joaquin I <br /> Ordinance requirements will.'_ be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Bui-lding- Inspection Division: <br /> 1. The •prbpo'sed building shall be provided with an <br /> automatic fire sprinkler system or divided into <br /> areas less than 3 , 000 square feet by area <br /> separation walls. { <br /> 2 . Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled <br /> access requirements. (C.C.R. , Titlk.: 24) <br /> 3 . The floor area of the repair shop (H-4 occupancy) <br /> shall be served by one or more floor drains which <br /> shall drain to an approved grease and oil <br /> separator. The separator shall have prior approval <br /> by the Public Health services (Environmental <br /> Division) before submission to this Division for <br /> permits and meet all the criteria for hazardous <br /> waste generation. <br />
