UNASSIGNED <br /> 1.0 =INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Mrs: Anna McClellan of Ennis, Montana to conduct a soil suitability <br /> study for the proposed development at24901South Bird Road,Tracy, California.A Surface <br /> Subsurface Contamination Report was prepared for this project in a report dated June 1, 2005 by <br /> our office. The Soil Suitability Study was completed in anticipation of EHD requirements. <br />_ The soil suitability study (SSS) was-conducted to-determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study-was.performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A°major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates.as required by San Joaquin <br /> County, Public Health Services, EnviroilmentaI Health Department HD . <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water in was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> -_The formatting of this report has been des i ned to folio <br /> g w, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's'Soil-Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14,2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The subject property is located west of South Bird Road approximately one and a half miles north o£ <br /> Valpico Road in Tracy. The property is a 123.23-acre parcel,APN's 250-230-01 and 252-140-01, <br /> (Plate 1) used almost entirely for farming.=-The county application number is unassigned. There is a <br /> F1single family residence of 2.41 acres in the center near the northern edge of the property.
