The excavation is to <br /> occur on 736 acres of an 820-acre site to a depth of approximately 150 feet. The permit is approved for <br /> phasing over a period of 50 years. I <br /> On September 16, 1993, the Planning Commission approved a Revision of Approved Action for Teichert <br /> Aggre+aates to amend Condition of Approval No. 6.b. relative to State Fish and Game and U, S. Fish and <br /> Wildlife requirements., , <br /> The Planning Commission approved a Revisions of Approved Actions on November 7, 1996, to amend <br /> Public Works Condition of Approval No. 2.c. This condition was modified to revise the Traffic Index based <br /> on whether the trucks were loaded or not. <br /> F <br /> 1 <br /> Analysis <br /> The Time Extension request by Teichert Aggregates is for the stated purpose of allowing Teichert t <br /> Aggregates to complete negotiations with the State Department of Fish and Game and the U. S. Fish and ' <br /> Wildlife'Service. <br /> It is also staff's understanding that Teichert is redesigning their proposed plant facilities for the site. The <br /> Time Extension will allow Teichert to complete this process and pull the necessary building permits. ! <br /> Teichert Aggregates has been diligent in working toward satisfying all the Conditions of Approval. <br /> Substantial improvements have been made to the intersection of State Route 132 and Bird Road.
