01 July 2016
AGE Project No. 15-3403
Estimated depth to groundwater beneath the property is between approximately 10 feet
below surface grade (bsg), based on the map titled Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater
Fall 2012 published by the San Joaquin County Flood Control District and Water
Conservation District (FCD&WCD).
6.2. GROUNDWATER CONTAMINATION IN THE AREA OF THE SITE
The immediately adjacent and outlying land use for the parcel is agricultural in nature.
There are potential groundwater contamination issues associated with agricultural uses
and local septic systems. A review of the California Department of Toxics and Substance
Control (DTSC) Envirostor Database and the Geotracker Web site revealed no leaking
fuel underground storage tank (LUST) site within a one-mile radius of the site. One site
was southeast of the property and the site has been closed for more than 10 years and
is located more than one-mile (1.8 miles) from the subject parcel.
6.3. ON-SITE EXISTING WELL DESCRIPTION
The existing water supply well was installed at an unknown date with a six-inch casing.
The grout seal was installed from the surface to an unknown depth. The well will be
utilized for domestic purposes.
6.4. CONSTITUENTS BEING TESTED FOR IN THE WATER SAMPLE
Nitrate (NO3) constituents and DBCP were tested in the current groundwater supply well.
6.5. GROUNDWATER SAMPLE COLLECTION
On 01 July 2016, a sample of the drinking water supplied by the current groundwater
supply well was collected in an unpreserved one-liter plastic container for shipping.
Groundwater sample containers were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and
transported under chain-of-custody protocols to Precision EnviroTech Environmental
Laboratories (CTEL), a California Department of Public Health-certified laboratory, for
analysis Nitrate (NO3). The analytical report is included in Appendix C.
6.6. GROUNDWATER ANALYTICAL REPORT
PET laboratory reports with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports and chain-
of-custody forms are be supplied in Appendix C. Nitrate (NO3) as nitrogen was detected
at 10.7 milligrams per liter (mg/1). That values is lower than the State of California drinking
water maximum contaminate level of 10 mg/I for Nitrate as Nitrogen (N).
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
