BOX 60 • FRENCH CAMP, CA 95231-0060
TEL: (209)478-9508 a FAX: (209)478-9508
March 19 ,2010
END
San Joaquin County
2 3 2010
Department of Enviromental health Et4VIRUN.MENf HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
Attn: Mike Escotto
RE: Linda Heisig Quarry Excavation 401 S. Bolton Road, Holt CA.
Location and water source for dust control.
As per our telephone conversation I am you the following information as
requested. t
The water source to be used will come from a existing water siphon shown
on the Engineer's map at the west end of the project. This siphon is also
used for irrigation. The water comes from a pipe located in the abutting
slough and crosses over the levee bank down to the siphon. At the siphon
there are water values that can be opened or closed. When the siphon is full
we will park the water truck next to this siphon and drop a intake hose into
the siphon and pump the water into the water truck tank. As we take the
water out of the siphon we keep open the valve from the river but back it off
enough that the water level in the siphon tank remains the same as we pump
the water to the water truck.
The water from the slough to the siphon is done by gravitation as no motor
or generator is needed. Any other questions or needed items please call Roy
Reeves at 209-478-9508.
Thank You,
