The study
-was performed according to the requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County.
Developinent. 'A major element of the field work included conducting a percolation test that
meets the required, absorption rates as required by San Joaquin County Public Health Services
-Environmental Health Department (EHD).
In addition to"conducting the percolation test, A review of published so il',information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use.
with a septic system.. A nitrate loading balance was conducted to'estimate.the potentiai.nitrate
impacts to ground water.
