A copy of the letter is attached. <br /> The letter from the State Water Resources Control Board calls on regulatory personnel <br /> and consulting engineers to evaluate each site so that they can be moved to closure as <br /> quickly as possible. By January 31, 2009, a budget for the period January 1 2009 through <br /> June 30, 2010 must be submitted to the State Water Resources Control Board that details <br /> the estimated cost of environmental management costs for the 7500 West Eleventh Street <br /> site based on an efficient, minimum cost program. <br /> .Following are.my observations on the current condition of the 7500 West Eleventh Street <br /> property and my recommendations for closing the site in compliance with the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board's directive. <br /> Overview of Current Condition of the Site <br /> As you have stated, the . 7500 West Eleventh Street Site has been thoroughly <br /> characterized. In addition to a groundwater-quality program that has extended over more <br /> than eight years, analysis of the geochemistry of the groundwater has demonstrated that <br /> processes of natural attenuation including natural bioremediation are actively remediating <br /> the affected groundwater.
