The fueling station ceased operation in 1998 and, in December of that <br /> year, eight underground fuel tanks were removed from the property. At that time, it was <br /> found that soil and groundwater beneath the site were affected by fuel hydrocarbons. In= I <br /> 1998, affected soil was removed from the site and Low Density Non-Aqueous Phase <br /> Liquid (LNAPL) and heavily-affected groundwater`.were pumped from the subsurface. . <br /> Since then, an extensive program of phased site characterization and groundwater-quality <br /> monitoring has continued for the past 5.5 years. _ + <br /> E <br /> As had been directed by the SJCEHD,=our report, Extended Site Characterization <br /> Former Fueling Station at 7500 West Eleventh Street, Tracy, California, submitted on <br /> October 22, 2002, included a survey of all groundwater wells in and around the Navarra <br /> Site in which the groundwater might, regardless of assessed risk, have been affected by - <br /> TELEPHONE: OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA(51 0)336-9118 TRACY,CALIFORNIA(209)832-2910 <br />
