i <br /> Ir <br /> :. <br /> ALS' .r <br /> PUBLIC COUNTY SAN JOAQUIN H D ON <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTVISI <br /> c ... . <br /> Karen Furst, M-D., <br /> M,p H,, Health Officer Q c ;o it <br /> 'third Floor • Stockton, CA 95282 <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue�Q91458-342Q <br /> March 12, 1999 <br /> Mr. Carl Navarra <br /> 485 Blewett Rd. <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> RE: 7500 W. 1 Vh St. SITE CODE: 1392 <br /> Tracy, Ca 95376 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) <br /> has reviewed the analytical results of the soil and/or water samples collected beneath <br /> the underground storage tank(s) that was/were permanently closed at this site on <br /> December 10, 1998 and December 28, 1998. <br /> Based on the levels of contaminants present in the samples collected, further <br /> investigation to determine the extent of the soil and/or groundwater contamination is <br /> required. <br /> An "Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release (Leak)/Contaminated Site <br /> Report" has been filled pursuant to Section 25295 of the Health and Safety Code (HSC). <br /> The appropriate disclosure of a hazardous waste discharge pursuant to Section <br /> 25180.7 of the HSC has been made, and the site has been placed on the list of <br /> contaminated sites in San Joaquin County which is maintained by PHS/EHD. <br /> PHS/EHD under contract with the State of Califomia Water Resources Control Board <br /> (SWRCB) oversees the investigation and remediation of contamination from leaking <br /> UST's. Responsible parties must take corrective action in response to an unauthorized <br /> release, in compliance with Section 25299.37 of the HSC and Corrective Action <br /> Regulations adopted pursuant to Section 25299.77 of the HSC. <br /> PHS/EHD uses the SWRCB "Prioritization System for Leaking Underground Storage <br /> Tank Sites" to prioritize all the contaminated sites. You will be directed to begin the <br /> required investigation, based upon the priority ranking of the site and PHS/EHD staff <br /> availability. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County health Care Services <br />
