Morada Municipal Advisoy Council (response: 11-17-92): The Morada MAC response included the three Resolutions that were passed at their meeting of November 16, 1992. Resolution No. 1 requests that the Board of Supervisors reconsider their action to expand the Morada area based on the absence of notice given to the Morada MAC or the citizens of Morada and based on the confusion on the part of the Board as to the official position of the current Morada MAC and the Morada residents. Resolution No.2 requests the suspension of the application based on the question of the legality of the General Plan adoption for Morada Resolution No. 3 requests that a General Flan Amendment be initiated by the Planning Division to return the affected 94 acres to the AG-40 zone. San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department (response: 11-23-92): The Sheriff's Department response listed the following crime prevention concepts to be incorporated in the design: visible home addressing; street lighting to meet County standards; cul-de-sac streets that have a 52-foot width, a maximum 300-foot length, and a 60-foot turnaround; perimeter fencing with security shrubbery adjacent to the fencing;window placement to allow investigation of suspicious outside activity; earth berms no higher than one and one-half feet in height; and fencing to secure the construction site and materials.
