kn KLf1NFELDER
Our calculation is as follows:
Ne — 0.531(2)(70)(1 —0.25 +0.5(10.4) = 55.7 + 5.2 — 5.32 mg/l as N
0.531(2)+10.4 1.06 +10.4
1 CONCLUSIONS
Based on the above evaluation, we conclude that wastewater produced by the proposed leach
field should not have a nitrate as nitrogen (N) concentration at the groundwater level greater than
10 mg/l. Furthermore, the results of our percolation tests indicate that a conventional leach
trench sewage disposal system that is properly maintained and extends to a minimum depth of
3.5 feet below existing site grade should adequately serve the proposed development.
LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development and on the site conditions. It was assumed that the percolation test results
are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
This completes the scope of work requested. Our work was performed in general accordance
with the standard of care that exists in San Joaquin County.
