hJuly 11, 2007
NOA Project Number: E07094A
F13.6 Impact of Nitrate Loading to Nearby Water Sources
Based on the method and assumptions described,in addition to the geologic setting,'Te do aQt
F) believe the proposed projects will cause a build up of nitrate in the ground water above 10 mg/L-N
over thelong term. _
Since the site is relatively flat,we do not foresee percolating effluent affecting any surface water
resources.
F1 4.0 DISCUSSION OF NITRATE LOADING RESULTS
4.1 Total Nitrate Impact
f
Based on the method and assumptions described, the result of the nitrate loading balance indicates j
that the proposed development on the proposed project should not cause a build up of nitrate in the
ground water above 10 mg/L-N over the long term.
4.2 Methods of Mitigation
Because of the favorable result of the nitrate loading calculation, no mitigation measures are
warranted.
F115.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Our office concludes that the proposed project will not cause a build up of nitrates above 10
mg/L-N in the ground water. Our office has been contracted by the owners to design the septic
system design and layout for the proposed temple septic system expansion. These plans will be
forthcoming.
P5.1 Signatures '
The signatures of the environmental professionals involved in the preparation of this report can be
found on the cover sheet at the front of this package.
1F1 5.2 Attachments
1 All required attachments and appendices can be found at the rear of this package.
P
fillS
h
