Work Plan or Refined ftned Plume Definition and Management of Floating Product-7500 W 111h 3t., Tracy, CA, Page 28
after a one week delay to permit concrete and grout to set; their development will require two
days. The first round of groundwater sampling will be initiated approximately one week
later. By assigning a large field crew to the work it can be complete in one day. The results of
the sample analyses will be available within three weeks of the day they are submitted to the
laboratory.
Following the first round of groundwater quality monitoring, an engineering report on the
site characterization work completed through that time will be available for submittal to the
SJCEHD and the RWQCB within 60 days.
It is anticipated that following the initial round of groundwater-quality monitoring, a
monitoring round will be scheduled once per quarter for at least two years.
Based on the foregoing assumptions, it is estimated that a report on the site characterization
work will be completed six month after authorization to proceed is received and, depending
upon the results of a regular program of groundwater-quality monitoring, the site
characterization and monitoring program can be completed within 2.5 years of the
authorization date.
7.10 Cost Estimate
A detailed cost estimate for installation of the additional groundwater-quality monitoring
wells, the closure of selected existing wells and for groundwater quality monitoring using the
entire array of extant and proposed wells is included in the Engineer's Estimate in Appendix
A. The estimate for this portion of the work includes the cost of floating product monitoring
described in Section 8.0 below.
CAPITAL COST
Regulatory Consultations (Task 1) $ 950
Work Plan(Task 2) 6, 600
Health and Safety Plan (Task 3) 300
Installation(Tasks 4A, 4B, 4C, and 5) 59,000
(Including well installation, well closures,
field engineering, soil sample analyses,
and one round of groundwater-quality
and floating product monitoring)
Well Head Survey(Task 413) 1,900
Engineering Report (Task 6) 7,900
-.
