Rajkovich et al <br /> District CEQA Reference No: 20140094 <br /> Dear Mr. Funderburg: <br /> The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (District) has reviewed the <br /> project referenced above consisting of a General Plan Map Amendment application to <br /> amend the General Plan designation of a 140-acre parcel from Limited Industrial, <br /> Community Commercial and Medium Density Residential to General Industrial and a <br /> Zone Reclassification application to amend the zoning designation from Agriculture- <br /> Urban Reserve to General Industrial. The project site is located on the northwest corner <br /> of Newton Road and Cherokee Road, east of Stockton. (APN/Address: 132-070-10; <br /> 3263 East Cherokee Road, Stockton, CA.) The underlying project is an industrial <br /> business park. The proposed General Plan Amendment and zone reclassification will <br /> not have an impact on air quality. However, if approved, future development will <br /> contribute to the overall decline in air quality due to construction activities, increased <br /> traffic, and ongoing operational emissions. The District offers the following comments: <br /> 1.
