6.3 San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's office was contacted regarding <br /> the agricultural use of this site. Pesticide use reports for the past five years were <br /> reviewed. The cropping pattern appears to have been a rotation between wheat and <br /> tomatoes. <br /> 6.4 California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online <br /> Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on June 27, 2014 for mapped oil or gas wells <br /> within 1/4 mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified with the search area. <br /> 6.5 National Pipeline Mapping System <br /> The National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) database was queried on June 27, <br /> 2014 for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within 1/4 mile of the subject Site. <br /> No such pipelines were identified. <br /> 7.0 IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES <br /> The following sources of past, current, on-site, and off-site contamination have been identified <br /> as a result of this assessment: <br /> Identified Contamination Sources <br /> 1. The Site was developed for irrigated agriculture prior to 1937. The San Joaquin County <br /> Agricultural Commissioner's Office has records of pesticide usage on this Site for the <br /> five preceding years, from 2009 to the present. Some surface staining was noted on <br /> the drive approaching the operating irrigation well. (past and current on-site) <br /> 2. Adjoining properties are identified as commercial, industrial, and residential uses. (past <br /> and current off-site) <br /> 3. Two irrigation wells are located on the Site. (current on-site) <br /> 4. Agricultural irrigation infrastructure is present on the Site from past and current farming <br /> operations. (past and current on-site) <br /> Evaluation & Recommendations <br /> 1. Agricultural chemical may remain in Site soils from past uses. The only way to <br /> determine the presence or absence of these chemical is by testing and analysis. <br /> Typically, any such testing is conducted at the property owner's discretion. <br /> 2. Sites identified in the EDR Radius Map Report within 1/4 miles of the subject Site were <br /> analyzed for environmental impacts.
