A. A permit is required to store pallets, palletized packing boxes, bin boxes, and <br /> including plastic bin boxes in excess of 30,000 board feet or 50,000 cubic feet. <br /> B. Pallets, palletized packing boxes and bin boxes shall be piled with due regard to <br /> stability of piles and in no case higher than 12 feet; where pallets are piled next to a <br /> property line, the distance from the property line shall not a less than one half the <br /> pile and in case less than 5 feet. Exception: Bin boxes may be stacked to a <br /> maximum height of 20 feet. <br /> C. Driveways between and around pallets, bin boxes and palletized packing crates <br /> shall be at least 15 feet wide and maintained free from accumulation of rubbish, <br /> weeds, and equipment or other articles or materials. Driveways shall be so spaced <br /> that a maximum grid system unit of 50 feet by 50 feet is produced. <br /> D. Pallets, palletized packing boxes and bin box storage, operating under a permit <br /> shall be surrounded with a suitable fence of at least 6 feet in height. Exception: <br /> Storage is located inside the building. <br /> E. Approved water supply and fire hydrants capable of supplying the required fire flow <br /> shall be provided to within 150 feet of all portions of the storage area, in accordance <br /> with the applicable sections of the California Fire Code. <br /> NOTE: Fire Prevention requirements may be superseded by Planning Department <br /> requirements that are more stringent. <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact: Alex Chetley, [209)468-3000) <br /> a. The developer shall provide drainage facilities in accordance with the San Joaquin <br /> County Development Standards. Retention basins shall be fenced with six (6) foot high <br /> chain link fence or equal when the maximum design depth is 18 inches or more. <br /> Required retention basin capacity shall be calculated and submitted along with a <br /> drainage plan for review and approval, prior to release of building permit. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1135) <br /> b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee shall be required for this application. The fee is due and <br /> payable at the time of building permit application. The fee will be based on the current <br /> schedule at the time of payment. The fee shall be automatically adjusted July 1 of each <br /> year by the Engineering Construction Cost Index as published by the Engineering News <br /> Record. (Resolutions R-00-433) <br /> c. The Regional Transportation Impact Fee shall be required for this application. The fee is <br /> due and payable at the time of building permit application. The fee will be based on the <br /> current schedule at the time of payment. (Resolution R-06-38) <br /> d. A copy of the Final Site Plan shall be submitted prior to release of building permit. <br /> e. Permit Registration Documents (PRD's) shall be filed with the State Water Resources <br /> Control Board (SWRCB) to comply with the State "General Permit for Storm Water <br /> Discharges Associated with Construction Activity". The Waste Discharge Identification <br /> (WDID) Number issued by SWRCB shall be submitted to the Department of Public Works <br /> for the file. Coverage under <br /> the SWRCB General Construction Permit Order 2009-0009-DWQ shall be maintained <br /> throughout the duration of all phases of the project. <br /> Informational Notes: <br /> 1) A Solid Waste Diversion Plan for all applicable projects must be submitted to the <br /> Building Division of the Community Development Department prior to issuance of the <br />
