Glover, is subnutting this <br /> attachment to the addendum to the "Workplan for Additional Subsurface Investigation" per our <br /> telephone conversation on Pune 21, 1996. The purpose of the additional activities proposed is to <br /> collect and analyze sod gas and groundwater samples for biochemical parameters to-determine if <br /> biorezmediation is occurring at this site. <br /> Smith Environmental proposes to conduct the following activities: submit for laboratory,analysis <br /> soil gas samples from each boring for oxygen, carbon dioxide, and methane; conduct field analysis <br /> of grab groundwater samples collected from each boring and groundwater samples coliccted <br /> quarterly from monitoring wells MW-1, INM-2 and IVW-3 for dissolved oxygen and oration- <br /> reduction,potential, in addition to pbl; specific conductance, and temperature; and submit grab <br /> grnrprdwater samples from each boring and groundwater samples collected quzrterly from lid-i, <br /> MW-2- and 1'vfVtl-3 for laboratory anaSyses far carbon dioxide, alkalinity, nitrate, sulfate, and <br /> ferrous iron in addition to total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbeenzene, xylenes and methyl tertiary butyl ether. Field methods for collecting sod 8= <br /> samples and groundwater samples are presented in Attachment 1. <br /> All, work described in this addendum will be performed in accorda=e with Smith <br /> Environmental's Field Procedures and Site Safety Plan on file with PUStEEID, and will be <br /> gerformod under the direcbori of a California Registered Geologist or Professional Enginn er.
