In accordance with San
Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d), the EHD has received the Soil
Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study (January 29, 2002); however, EHD has not had adequate time
to review and accept the findings of the study.
In addition, based on the previous use and the subsequent documented soil and groundwater
contamination at this site, EHD has directed the owner to conduct further investigation. EHD
will need the results of the investigation in order to determine that single-family residences can
ultimately be constructed on these parcels. The proposed location of septic and wells for these
parcels will need to be addressed, in order not to impact the clean up of the site. The site was
referred to California Regional Water Quality Control Board by EHD for clean up enforcement
action on February 28, 2001.
d
Health Care Service,;
A Division of San Joaquin Counts S—CLZ
