• CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test locations P1B, P2, P3, and P4
appear to be suitable for use with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation
rates of 6.9, 35.7, 19.2, and 50.0 min/in, respectively, were observed in the test
locations.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is estimated to range between
125 to 140 feet below ground surface. The ground-water flow is to the west or
northwest at a rate of approximately three to four feet per mile.
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well. Nitrate was detected in the
sample at a concentration of 1.4 mg/L-N, well below the MCL of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was
not detected in the sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach lines
and seepage pits.
•
•
LOGE 1704 Page 9
