We have estimated the waste water flow from the new facility will be approximately 4,800 gallons per day (gpd). The estimated flow was determined by examination of 2003 water records and a conversation with you on February 27, 2004 discussing clubhouse and non-clubhouse water uses and other activities. Attached to this letter are Table 1, Table 2, and Figure 1 which show the water use records, flow calculations, and assumptions used to derive this use rate. Presented next are the facts and assumptions which were used to determine the flow rate: • A portion of the domestic water will be disposed within four different septic systems including the main club house,halfway house, restroom on hole no. 7, and restroom on hole no. 9. • Golf guests and members last year played 36,000 rounds (about 99 guests and members per day average). • Assume each member and guest uses a non clubhouse rest room during the day. • Peak water use(above 5,576 gpd) for June-Aug 2003 is associated with filling swimming pools (non septic waste water use). • Landscape sprinkler heads were counted to be 21.
