(RESNA) has prepared this report on behalf of Western Stone Products, <br /> Inc. The purpose of the report is to present the information required for site closure review. <br /> This report is being submitted to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHSIEHD) to satisfy the closure review requirements, as outlined by CRWQCB correspondence <br /> -`� dated October 7, 1993 (Addition to Appendix A of the Tri-Regional Recommendations). <br /> �sr <br /> 2.0 HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The site is located at 8181 W. 11th St. (Business Loop 205) in Tracy, CA (Figure 1). The site <br /> is situated on level terrain underlain b flood basin deposits of Pleistocene and holocene age that <br /> f� Y P g <br /> are composed of sediments similar to and probably conformable on underlying deposits of <br /> alluvium and Tulare formation. The flood basin deposits consist of light to dark brown and gray <br /> clay, silty sand and organic materials with locally high concentrations of salt and alkali. Stream <br /> f <br /> channel deposits of sand and gravel are also present (Hotchkiss and Balding, 1971). <br /> Based on data from borings, the soils beneath the subject site are comprised of clay to silty clay <br /> from the surface to approximately 24 feet below surface grade, the total depth explored.
