Soil Suitability&Nitrate Loading Study Page 12
Proposed Stama Winery, 17521 Davis Rd.Lodi CA
Project No. 670.113
July 22,2013
&0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. A percolation test performed by Live Oak Geo Environmental, Inc. at the site of the
new septic system. Based on the percolation test results and the soil profile, we
conclude that the shallow soil percolation characteristics are suitable for a standard
design septic sewage system.
2. The nitrate loading study indicates the proposed new septic system will add an
additional approximately 109 pounds per year.
3. The nitrate loading study suggests the uppermost groundwater layer in the vicinity
the large, future septic system will be receiving a nitrate load approximat 63
percent of the allowable MCL limit
4. The groundwater water well sample contains no detectable DBCP.
&2 Recommendations
The results of this investigation suggest that a standard septic design is adequate for the
proposed winery.
2937 Veneman Ave.,4B240 Geo-Phace Environmental Inc.
