SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Inderjit S. Toor <<1 <br /> Construction, Inc. to conduct a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for the — <br /> post-fire restoration of a dwelling cluster located at 5020 East Eight Mile Road, <br /> Stockton, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study are combined under this report <br /> cover and presented as two sections of this report. The formatting of the report has <br /> been designed to follow the recommendations of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> (� Proposed Development <br /> Two duplexes located on the Site were damaged in a recent fire. Inderjit S. Toor <br /> Construction, Inc. plans to repair the structures (Plate 2). <br /> Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 086-070-10. The parcel is <br /> approximately 7.94 acres in size and is owned by Gurpreet Singh. The County project <br /> application number is PA-1400234; the application is for a "dwelling cluster." <br /> The Site currently contains two duplexes and a small garage. One domestic water well <br /> and one irrigation well are located on the Site. The remainder of the Site is open land <br /> (Plate 3). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 38 to 39 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat <br /> (Plate 4). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the subject property is zoned R-R, rural residential. This <br /> zoning designation "is intended to provide for large lot rural homesites within or adjacent <br /> to existing Rural Communities. Lots will generally have sufficient area to allow for <br /> individual water supply, sewage disposal, and storm water drainage, but not to support <br /> significant commercial agriculture." <br /> �" LOGE 1515 Page 1 <br />
