NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT BEGINNING 1:30 P.M., ON JUNE 8, 1999, or as soon as the matter can be heard thereafter, THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, IN THE CHAMBERS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on the Seventh Floor of the Courthouse, 222 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, California, will hold a public hearing and receive oral and written statements regarding the following application and its environmental determination: PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE APPEAL BY RAMON GUERRERO OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. UP-98-6 OF RAMON GUERRERO (C/O JOSE ALVA) for a 900-square-foot private slaughterhouse to be used for slaughtering cattle for use in the owner's restaurants, in addition to the keeping and raising of 9 pot belly pigs, 7 pheasants, 35 doves, 9 comish hens, 69 ducks, 87 chickens, and 23 ostriches. The project site is located on the east side of Elliott Road, one mile north of Liberty Road, north of Lockeford (Supervisorial District 4). Environmental Determination: An Initial Study indicates that this project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and a Negative Declaration has been posted. All persons interested in this matter are invited to be present and submit written and/or oral statements regarding the project or the environmental determination at this hearing. If you challenge the nature of the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Division at, or prior to, the public hearing.
