CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test locations appear to be suitable for
use with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of 4.2 min/in (Parcel
1), 5.2 min/in (Parcel 2), 5.2 min/in (Parcel 3), and 25 min/in (Parcel 4) were observed in
the test locations.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is estimated to range between
95 to 115 feet below ground surface. The ground-water Flow is to the northwest at a
rate of approximately 14 to 17 feet per mile
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well. Nitrate was detected in the
sample at a concentration of 4.1 mg/L-N, well below the MCL of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was
not detected in the sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach lines
and seepage pits. No new construction is anticipated.
•
LOGE 1834 Page 9
