An interim report of results will be prepared and submitted to the
Regional Water Board for review and approval. If COPC are identified under the reservoirs as a result of
the sub-liner soil sampling, the risks associated with any such COPC will be evaluated and discussed in
the report; also, a supplemental Work Plan will be included proposing further action, if any, to address
remediation or mitigation of risks to groundwater degradation. If no COPC are identified, there is no risk
from the subsoil beneath the reservoirs and SMH will schedule decommissioning activities at a future
time yet to be determined. The Regional Water Board staff will be notified 2 weeks prior to
commencement of any decommissioning construction work. All construction work will be performed in
accordance with construction stormwater regulations. Following completion of the regrading activities, a
final closure report will be prepared for submittal to the Regional Water Board. This report will include
details of residual solids disposal, backfill operations and will include photographs of the final site
configuration.
