It was extracted from the transportation category including i some oil,but primarily gas pipelines and electrical transmission lines. /\ Sensitive Receptors: There are individuals deemed sensitive receptors due to their fragile immune systems and special sensitivity to environmental discharges. These sensitive receptors typically include the elderly,the sick,and children. While the location of all sensitive receptors cannot be determined,EDR indicates those buildings and facilities-schools,daycares,hospitals,medical centers, and nursing homes-where individuals who are sensifive receptors are likely to be located. Flood Zone Data: This data,available in select counties across the country,was obtained by EDR in 1999 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA). Data depicts 100-year and 500-year flood zones as defined by FEMA. NWi: National Wetlands Inventory.
