RECIEVED
SEP 1. 1 2OU6
September 10, 2006
Community Development Dept.
San Joaquin County
Community Development Center
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Attn: Mr. Mo Hatef
Re: Proposed Lockeford Vista Subdivision
Application Number: PA-0500509(SU) and PA-0500844(ZR)
Sir,
Regarding the referenced application for the Lockeford Vista Subdivision. I live
on Sierra Drive, immediately north of what appears to..be the main access for the
subdivision. Already, due to the traffic on Highway 88, it is difficult at times to
make left turns into and out of the Lockeford Bluffs subdivision. Unless properly
mitigated, the additional traffic from the proposed subdivision will make a bad
situation worse.
It is not clear from the map on the flyer if the developer will be required to make a
connection to Tully Road. A connection to Tully Road will help relive some of the
problems created with the additional traffic. In addition, will the developer be
required to install signals at Sierra Drive and Highway 88? That would
significantly improve the ability for left turn movements. Although I wonder what
'1 having two signals in Lockeford will do on busy holiday weekends. With just the
one signal traffic can back up for a mile towards Clements.
Thank you for this opportunity to express my concerns.
Sincerely,
}
Michael.Wagner
20277 Sierra Drive
Lockeford, CA 95237
