Please refer to the attached checklist for items
' found to be insufficient. Most notably, the parameters used in the nitrate loading calculation were underestimated and
must be revised to accurately reflect the project as proposed.
Please be advised that the on-site water well and the use of bottled water as a drinking water source, as recommended in
the report, may not conform to the requirements for public water systems according to state law.
An addendum to the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study addressing the items found insufficient must be
submitted to the EHD prior to the issuance of building permits. Please be advised that any additional time required to
review the addendum will be billed at a rate of$89.00 per hour.
In order to satisfy the conditions of approval under the EHD jurisdiction for this project, please submit to the
EHD those items noted above by July 14,2003. if you have any questions, please contact Lisa Medina,Senior REHS at
(209)468-3455.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
i Environme al Health Department
Lis Medina Seni S Mike Huggins, Supervising REHS, RDI
I Land Use Program Land Use Program Supervisor
Attachments
Cc: Tom Cosentino
Ryan Carrel
f
i
