We counted the
building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building
Ficluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there is a minimum of fifteen
` septic system per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site.
FiThe general area consists of agriculture with a few scattered residences.
3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
The following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at
EHD on October 21, 2005:
Table 1.
-
Vicinity Septic System Permit Summary.
Address,Date Tank Lines,Length,Pits Comments
Fi Capacity
T 17005 East Highway 88 1600 gal Three 40'leach lines New installation
P12-29-05 25'x36" seepage pits
16$25 East Highway 88 1200 gal Two 80'leach].fines New installation
7-27-70
16767 North Highway 88 Not reported One 40'leach line New installation
6-16-93 2506" see a e pit
The majority of the septic systems in the area appear to utilize leach lines with seepage pits.
3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
M
No septic repair permits were found for the vicinity during file review at EHD on October 21, 2005.
3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
Maximum expected usage on each proposed parcel would be for a primary residence and second
dwelling unit.
