I. BACKGROUND
GENERAL
This report outlines septic system designs for each of the fifteen lots of this proposed
subdivision. These recommendations rely heavily on the existing Report of
Investigation, On-Site Waste Water Disposal System Requirements, April, 2005.
System types herein range from engineered gravity to pressure-dosed systems. All
systems were figured for a 4 bedroom size, but could be proportionately increased or
decreased depending upon number of actual bedrooms for each house.
Pump-up systems will discharge into a °D" box. Pressure-dosed systems will each have
valve box cluster to control flow to each line. Pits at end of leachlines (Lot 4) shall be
36 inch diameter and of regular San Joaquin County construction.
Replacement systems shown need to be installed for "dual" system for each lot in
addition to initial systems. This means that "Bull Run"-type diverter valves are to be
used on gravity systems to alternate flow every six months back and forth. Pressure
systems will require either a "Hydrotek valve" or electromechanical valve to alternate
initial system with so-called repair system.
