i <br /> KLEINFELDER <br /> 7 INTERVIEWS <br /> l <br /> Kleinfelder attempted to contact key site managers to obtain current and historical environmental <br /> information concerning the site. Key site managers may include current or past owner`s of. the <br /> site, managers, or current occupants on site. Interviews were limited to a maximum of two <br /> selected key site managers. A key site manager, Mr. Jim Shannon, was provided to Kleinfelder <br /> by the client for this assessment and is summarized below. <br /> i <br /> Local government' officials were interviewed to obtain further information about environmental <br /> enforcement actions pending or ongoing at the site and adjacent facilities, or relevant permits <br /> (e.g. building, air quality, well abandonment, etc.) for the site and adjacent facilities. <br /> Copies of telephone conversation records included in Appendix D and summa ies of the <br /> discussions are included in Chapter 4.0 of this report. The following sections highlight <br /> environmental conditions revealed during the interviews. <br /> 7.1.. INTERVIEW WITH OWNER/MANAGER <br /> A phone interview was conducted with Mr. Jim Shannon (property owner) on November 19, <br /> 2003, regarding past uses of the site. According to Mr. Shannon, he purchased the site in the late <br /> 1970's. Mr. Shannon stated that the site has been vacant since he purchased it, but that it was <br /> used for agricultural purposes prior to that. Mr. Shannon had no knowledge of any wells or <br /> septic tanks on the subject site and to the best of his knowledge there have been no hazardous <br /> materials and/or petroleum product incidents onsite. Mr. Shannon had no knowledge of any <br /> underground storage tanks onsite. Mr. Shannon stated that the abandoned brick building has <br /> been unused sinceilhe purchased the property and was unsure what the building was used for prior <br /> to his ownership. !I <br /> 1 7.2. INTERVIEW WITH OCCUPANTS <br /> There are currently no onsite occupants. <br /> E <br /> 7.3. INTERVIEWS WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS <br /> San Joaquin County Planning Department was contacted on October 29, 2003.
