KL E/NFEL OER
.S,•ohr Mvo:c Farr Sa•'::on
8 GROUNDWATER
Groundwater was not encountered within our explorations drilled to a depth of about 25 feet below
existing site grade. Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater contour maps (2015) published by the
San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District show groundwater levels in
the project area in the range of about 60 feet below ground surface. Lines of Equal Elevation of
Groundwater contour maps(2015) published by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District show the groundwater gradient in the project area is generally to the east to
the northeast. Local gradient variations may occur due to well usage.
The existing concentrations of nitrate as NO3 in the groundwater at the site are unknown because
a water supply well is not located within the parcel. Groundwater is not currently used at the site,
nor is it anticipated to be used in the near future for the proposed facility within the parcel.
We do not know of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues in the project
vicinity. There are no existing dairies adjacent to the property. Other septic tank/leach field
systems in the project area are probably the largest contributors of nitrogen to groundwater in the
project vicinity.
20173772.001A/ST017R57809 Page 8 of 15 April17, 2017
©2017 Kleinfelder www.kleinfelder.com
