The purpose
of our study was to determine the suitability of the property for septic tank usage. The study was
performed in general accordance to the requirements of Section 9-10100© of San Joaquin
County Ordinance. The following includes background information regarding the proposed
development, present use of the site, existing septic tank performance and permitting, and the
groundwater depth in the project area. In addition, discussions regarding our investigative
procedures and the site conditions encountered during our field exploration and the results of
percolation tests are presented. Finally, our project limitations are provided.
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
On a preliminary basis, we understand the subject 3.2-acre project site will be used as a
commercial facility for Lodi Grading and Paving. The site is currently an unused commercial
site with four vacant one- and two-story buildings and parking/storage areas. We understand that
these buildings will be renovated, and three individual septic systems are planned to serve the
facility.
We anticipate that waste disposal will be provided by individual on-site sewage disposal systems
consisting of a septic tank/leach trench sewage disposal system with seepage pits.
GROUNDWATER DEPTH
During the time of our investigation, groundwater was not encountered.
