The property in question for the proposed landscaping business is <br /> located at the immediate intersection of E Hwy 12 and N Fox Rd. Hwy 12 is a very busy throughfare. Any <br /> vehicles turning left onto Fox Rd forces following traffic to STOP,due to lack of adequate shoulders on <br /> HWY 12 and would and does create an extreme traffic hazard. <br /> Additionally,Fox road is narrow,and was never designed,nor is it maintained to handle heavy traffic <br /> generic to a Landscaping operation. There are many young children in the area who use Fox Rd for <br /> walking,biking,and horseback riding,and additional traffic would only further put their safety in jepordy. <br /> Your records will also indicate that the proposed COMMERCIAL Operation is currently operating on <br /> property zoned AG-40,in violation of County Ordenances. <br /> The property is located in a low-lying area prone to flooding in even light rain,an runoff from chemicals <br /> such as pesticides,insecticide,and fertilizers and vehicle waste could have a negative effect on the <br /> immediate vicinity watershed. Most of the residents in the surrounding area use individual wells for their <br /> water supplies.
