Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> (3) Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for <br /> 'Engineered Grading Requirements.' <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading <br /> plan. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to the issuance of <br /> any building permits or the beginning of any construction. <br /> C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The spaces shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the'tow away'sign, <br /> at each entrance or visible from each space. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (3) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> 5. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION/FIRE SERVICES: <br /> a. The proposed buildings shall be provided with automatic fire sprinklers or divided into <br /> areas less than 6,000 square feet by area separation walls. <br /> b. Because of the lack of a public water supply to provide an adequate water fire flow for <br /> fire protection for this project, it will be necessary that the owner provide the fire flow as <br /> required. This can be accomplished by utilizing a well and static water supply calculated <br /> and installed for the fire flow and demand projected. The installation of a fire sprinkler <br /> system could decrease the amount of water required by up to 75 percent. <br /> C. Fire apparatus access roads shall be required for new buildings constructed when any <br /> portion of an exterior wall of the first story is located more than 150 feet from the public <br /> access road. This road shall be constructed to meet or exceed standards published by <br /> Public Works design standards. (UFC Section 10.203) <br /> d. Permits for the storage and use of welding and cutting equipment shall be obtained from <br /> the office of the County Fire Warden. All equipment or processes used for cutting and <br /> welding shall meet or exceed the requirements of Article 49, Uniform Fire Code, 1991 <br /> edition. <br />
