A. Driveway and maneuvering areas shall be paved and permanently maintained to provide a <br /> durable dust free surface. All other areas that are used for vehicular traffic shall be surfaced <br /> and permanently maintained with a chip seal. Trailers shall be stored on a minimum of four <br /> (4) inches aggregate base. <br /> i. UNIFORM FIRE CODE The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of NFPA 1231 of the National Fire <br /> Code(static water supply). <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. Key Boxes: A <br /> knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume 2, Standard <br /> 1J-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.
