State law requires that land use within airport <br /> TRACY, areas of influence conform to the Airport Land Use Plan(ALUP). <br /> AND <br /> THE COUNTY OR <br /> SAN JOAQUIN This site approval would allow the construction of a mini-storage facility,an office,and an <br /> on-site manager apartment. The project falls within Stockton Metropolitan Airport's Area of <br /> Influence and the Horizontal Zone. Please ensure that all new residential developments file the <br /> required Deed of Avigation and Hazard Easement in favor of Stockton Metro Airport,that all <br /> occupied structures be soundproofed to 45db, and that any potential school sites are evaluated by <br /> the State Department of Transportation,Division of Aeronautics. <br /> Uses that would attract birds,present visual distractions to pilots, or interfere with aircraft <br /> communications or navigation is strictly prohibited. Based on the type of use proposed for this <br /> site,this project would not be prohibited in the ALUP. However,all of the standards regarding <br /> soundproofing,non-reflective materials,transmissions,and power line undergrounding which <br /> apply to development in all zones apply also to this area. <br /> In addition,the property owner should be aware of the potential need to file FAA Form <br /> 7460-1 entitled Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration. This form can be accessed from <br /> www.faa.gov/arp/ace/faaforms.htm and sent to FAA,P.O.
