Dykxhoorn Property Page 7 Our Project Number: E07024A March 8, 2007 3.1.5 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System Three wells are located on the subject property. The locations of these wells are indicated on the site map (Appendix A). The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on February 13, 2007 in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property; one permit was found: 3/1/06 Installation of new well for Irrigation/Ag use. The two existing wells are depicted on the permit. 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map 606 and W5-3,12 were reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on February 27j 2007. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. The subject property was observed to be a flat rectangular parcel used for almond and walnut orchards. A burn pile was located at the northeast corner of the property. No structures or above ground storage tanks were observed on the property. Four pole-mounted transformers were observed on the property. Two transformers along the center of the property line were marked with a blue PCB-free sticker. Two transformers along the northern property line were not marked with a blue PCB-free sticker. No staining was observed around any of the transformers. Approximate locations of the transformers can be found on the site map in Appendix A. Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. The subject property is surrounded by orchards to the north, south, east and west. 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No poten�ial above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: Agricultural chemicals, including aluminum phosphide, iprodione, lambda-cyhalothrin, paraquat dichloride and permethrin have been applied to the subject property.
