Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading <br /> study for hogs/animal waste indicating that the area is suitable for the usage number of <br /> animals proposed. This study must be performed prior to issuance of building permit (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required <br /> and a review fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Division. <br /> B. A manure management plan submitted to Environmental Health Division on March 26, 2001, <br /> needs an addendum to specifically address issues related to a feed lot operation versus a short <br /> term holding area for hogs, sheep and goats. A review fee of$178.00 is required at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Division. <br /> C. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> Central Valley Region, related to animal confinement facilities prior to final occupancy <br /> approval (Water Code, Article 5, Section 13280). <br /> D.
